Aiii We | Industrial Visit (IV)

Eighth-semester bucket list was filled with four important works,
  • Mathrix symposium - This is where the rubber meets the road
  • Freshers day -  Made it, on the same day we had Mathrix workshop
  • Farewell for seniors - Cloned copy available in hand
  • Industrial visit
Almost everyone in the class was involved somehow in one of these activities, planning for the so-called Industrial visit started well ahead of time at Dec’18. Mahesh took the responsibilities in the shoulder, Rukmani and Akshaya stood as long pillars from the girl's side.

Square one

Feb 7, Out of 6 hours of class we canceled the last 3 hours. Most of the day-scholars went back and joined in central, hostellers kicked off their journey to Central from the yellow bus of CEG standing up against the alumni center. Vineeth and co placed few lemons for a safe journey and fire on a coconut wishing the same. At central, most of the day-scholar girls brought their parents, few boys too. Yes, it was a nice time talking to many of my friend's parents. We had booked nearly a coach using railway concession for students. A voice said the train will be departing from platform 8, all 51+3 and parents are heading towards 8. After reaching the compartment, we found that it was not the train we need to board. Later checking the display board, we confirmed that our train to Bangalore will be leaving from platform 6 where we all stood earlier. (Arumaiyana starting,.. haha)

Unfortunately, Suba, Muzu, and Iniyavan were not able to join with us, Muzu said he will be with us till biryani city. Girls and boys shared half of the coaches each equally. The train started, everyone was silent and no sign of college trip. Things started after crossing Perambur, seating rules are broken, girls had brought 2 decks of cards which helped in rummy and ash. A few hours later, anthakshiri between 2 rows, crazy mafia in between boys and gals,

lots and lots of snacks. I kept on taking the gooseberry from Vandhana’s pack. After 5 hours all got drained, for supper Fried rice was getting ready for us in Bangalore. All of a sudden, there rises a thought of having biryani for supper. Muzu and Usama happily arranged the Ambur biriyani everything from the train, the train stopped at Ambur. Friends sadly exchanged Muzu for a box full of biryani and parottas. The food was so good.

We reached KSR around 9PM, boarded the bus which had a shortage of 4 seats, a good set of speakers and disco lights in it. All tired up, Inba and Vineeth took the front board with the driver. Prabhu, Salai, and I were sleeping all like 3 spiders are hugging each other. Time went, nothing seems working; Srivasthan and I took a cloth, cleaned the standby area of the bus, and started sleeping there. At 4AM, disc brake makes Srivasthan slide over to the doors, few noticed it and got the content for the morning. AT 5AM, we stopped by a coffee shop in the outer of Dandeli. There we are on the first day of fun, dance dance dance without any makeup(;)) till we reached Dandeli,. Put up place discussed with Roshan(Guide) was not good, we demanded to move to another restaurant. Meanwhile, we started with our breakfast, Few started laughing, wondering whether it is a Poori or papadum, tea is the nice one we had in the morning.

Kali River

Lack of greenishness but we could feel that chillness and smell of some mixed spice trees. We were able to see the fog laying on top of the water. Dressed up as if we are going to the war, the group pic came so well.

After the ride, amidst the sunny sky, everyone took their phones for a selfie. We went back to the same papad place and had a bowl of sambar rice in sweet Kannadika style. Along with the guide, Arun and Mahi went to find a put up place. With some straight forwarded words from Arun and Mahesh, we got into Bison resort.  Makeups were on, we all hit the dance floor. Ramani and Sindhu rocked it. A small kid joined with us for a dance, she did amazingly cool. During dinner, one of 3 said, he used to have curd as a side dish for noodles and left the dinner table. Boys were like, … Hema organized events for the night, pattu ku pattu and dumb charades. Few noticed, how Swetha and Usama were talking just through their eyes.

River crossing

Last night's temperature reached 18 degrees, it demands to cover us with the bedsheets for 15 mins at least, to get some warmth. In a batch of 8 to 10, we crossed the river and climbed a few rocks. Abhishek came and said he is not satisfied with the trip and demanded return ticket there itself, the funny reason was, he was not woken up by anyone. Such a funny thought process. After the breakfast in Bison resort and we left the place. Of course, Rukmani, Akshaya Mahi, and Inba handled a few issues there in the resort.

Crazy Scotty driver

Regrettably, we decided to drop the guide and outset the journey ourselves. Mahi was pushed to do some uncertain things to keep the trip alive. By the way, our industrial visit comprises of a fake visit to the Pandurangan coffee factory and the public photoshop industry. The driver went crazy in the hills, he was driving as if he was driving a scooter. We reached Syntheri rock, Masuka helped us in communicating with the forest ranger. Walked almost a KM, nice spot; since we were early we barely found other tourists. Had tender coconut and bananas.

Nightout

Feb 9, Scooty driving made people vomit and drain. Friends were searching for rooms, through Emedia contacts we got contact with a hotel and we made it. Few people left to bring food for all of us, we came together and sat in a big round and had dinner. We went short of a couple of parcels, Mowni & Mani were giving all their snacks to Vineeth, (Pasakara pillaigal) Priya and Vasi were sharing their snack with Siva and other hostellers. We planned to vacate rooms at 6.30AM, with a good mood we all went to sleep.

The next day, Mani, Swetha, Usama, and I clicked some good pics behind the hotel. The clock ticked 7AM, no boys were out and so the organizing girls. All others are waiting outside including the staff, but staffs were silent and they didn't show any disappointment with the lateness. Last night, there was a police inquiry related to the issues from Dandeli; it helped them know the true face of one of them. (A responsible and a caring person will stand with his/her team without giving any space for emotions and selfishness). All these things made few to cancel their drinks night.

Gokarna

Masuka and Bhamini were companioning each other to feel good. The same hotel owner became a friend, Hema and Arun got the owner's bike and checked the beach which we are going to check-in. Reached beach, many of us got into a famous Mahabaleshwar temple. Later they said, we have to remove our shirts; now the crowd halved.

A wonderful view from the beach, a western ghats mountain shredded one of its parts into the ocean. We removed our chapels and went to play with water. Pushup and situp challenge too. Siva went funny, he buried all chapels inside the beach sand, that too in different places. We spent nearly 20 mins searching for all our sandals, badly we couldn’t find one of our friend's sandals. We gave a try to annadanam food.

Headed towards Shimoga beach, split into 2 gangs
  1. Going through the holy temples and their caves
  2. Water game events in the ocean
Abhinaya, Ajith, Sindhu, and I were roaming around those streets. After the saltwater games, 7 boys went to a nearby hotel and asked for the bathing-place; there they ended up in the dorm designed bath place, to add more weirdness, few tourist girls also came to the bath place, Usama was embarrassed. Tired but we don’t want to stop it, disco lights were ON and the bus floor was ready for couples show. People pulled almost every pair and made them dance. Note: Santhosh demand was rejected, it should be satisfied in farewell. After that bus seating arrangement got changed, all people sat with their loved ones or besties. It got so late for the food, ended up in the local food stall of the Jog falls area.

Shimoga

Rainy season would have been the best time to be here, but our friends made it so funny and enjoyable. I leaned over Sindhu and slept, On the way to the hotel room, we stopped by to refresh ourselves in a hotel that looks Vasantha Bhavan kind of franchise. Rooms were allotted, in an urge to make everybody settle in rooms, Mahi injured himself against a tile. Tamil, Akshaya and two of 3 went to get some food for us. Good sleeping time, next morning all dressed up neat and made a photo shoot.

Jog Falls:

Zoo was okay, the funny part was Lion safari. When we saw Lions, they were in the process of mating, people were silent and all of a sudden Rukmani apologized to Lions for disturbing them in a wrong time; the crowd released their laughter. On the way to Jog, we stopped at an Ice cream parlor, I used to call Krithika and Abhinayaa as lovers; when I was sitting next to Aneetha Mam they called me and showed a pose of them having crossed hands and eating the others ice cream. Straight to Jog falls, beautiful place. After adding a funny small dispute to the trip, we moved to the other end of the falls where Linga and Kumki movies were shooted. Abhinaya and Sindhu made me have some food, that showed pure bliss.

Despite the stop by signal, we jumped over the barricades and went to a deep low of the falls where tourists were restricted to step in. At the dinner table, Divya started her mimicry and mocked all staff. Boys were like, ‘Iruku, intha semester arrear iruku’. The journey continued towards Bangalore.

Wonderla

Since one of 3 demanded to change the plan for morning food, we stopped at an Idly shop, Idly was in diameter of 6 inches and flat, accidentally I wasted those Idlies. Despite being a working day, we found a good crowd at Wonderla. As a surprise, Ini and Muzu were there for us, they joined the trip. People started wearing the nylon cloths, it seems Wonderla used to have colors based on the size of the dress. When I saw Jennifer wearing a dark green dress, it reminds me of mental hospitals, haha. It was super fun, especially the rain dance and ocean waves. There should have been around 500 people in the pool but we literally ruled the entire waves pool. Raj started shouting, Kumthalagadi gala galaee and we all continued ooh aahhh ooh aahhh. Within a minute, all 500 people in the pool joined with us and shouted Kumthalagadi gala gala…. A group pic and left for the day to KSR railway station. Had dinner in the railway station shop, they gave a 10% discount, we met spartanz Prasanna there.

At no time

Tomorrow Vivek celebrates his bday, the cake was ready for him to cut at 12. Mahesh, Mani, Saran, Vineeth, Inba, Usama, Swetha, and I were talking all about the trip for the whole night. All of a sudden, an uncle turned up and asked us to be quiet and sleep. Candles blown, Swetha was waking me for the cake, I was like ‘Can you bring it here? …hahaha’ I got down at Perambur with my friends. Hostellers got into 21G from central.

Once in a lifetime kind of trip for us. Hearty thanks to Abhinayaa, Jennifer, Saranya, Sindhu, Swetha for taking care of me on the trip (Lol). Credits to our organizers Akshaya, Hema, Mahesh, and Rukmani. Thanks to people who came forward voluntarily to rectify and improvise the situations, Inbasasi, Arun, Tamilarasu, Vivek. We can’t forget the x-factor persons who kept the trip alive Salai, Prashanthi, Santhosh, Krithika, and Mownisha. Thank you all for such a memorable trip.

We can find all our pics here, It will be great if all of us upload our cell phone pics.

Love Story Part 3 [Materialistic]

Link to:  Part 2[Question] Jas and Gopi sat on the round shaped laptop desk at the Wi-Fi hut. All others took their seat in a normal fashion. Amishi started, “Does love is about something like friends with benefits or sex?”. As they have never discussed this topic among themselves before, everyone stood calmly. Yashwanth said, “Many feel like they are in need of love just to show off their greatness to their friends”. He added, “Many fall in love for 2 major reasons”.  1.They didn't get any sort of affection from their family and their close buddies  2. When they have number of arrears. “Most probably”, Ganga agreed. “Some love for time pass too... right”, Yashwanth said. Amishi didn't agree with Yash. She glanced at him. Their eyes met and none of them even blinked until Amishi  roke contact after few seconds. Things went for a long time. By the end, they came to a conclusion in unison. Love should not be materialistic. Love is not just for enjoyment and time pa
